Sealants, tapes and construction consumables

Buy against the material. Jorkli groups construction sealant cartridges and cutting consumables by the work they do, with inquiry-only supply through Austin, Texas. Name the surface or tool interface before comparing packs.

Enquiry basis: per tube or carton, roll, disc, blade, piece or set. No binding prices, cart or checkout. Availability and compatibility are checked after you state the job.

Match the consumable to the work

Start with the joint or the cut.

Consumables disappear into a job, which makes a wrong choice expensive. A sealant that will not move with a joint splits. A masonry bit used on the wrong setting burns its tip. A disc with the wrong interface is a safety problem, not a bargain. Each listing below carries the material boundary and the enquiry basis.

Worker pressing butyl tape over a metal sheet overlap
Butyl tape earns its place where a compatible overlap needs compression and weather sealing.
Line 01 / overlaps

Butyl sealing tape for stated sheet overlaps

Butyl is a compressible sealing line for compatible metal-sheet overlaps and similar weather-sealing details. Tell us the sheet material, overlap width, exposure and whether the tape sits under a fastened lap. A roll selected without those details is guesswork.

Compatibility boundaryWe do not call every black tape butyl or assume it belongs under every roof sheet. The overlap and surface must be named.

Worker cutting a steel section with an abrasive disc

Line 02 / cut

Abrasive cutting discs for compatible grinders

Metal cutting is not one job. Thin sheet, structural steel and stainless work can demand different disc characteristics. We list abrasive cutting discs by material context and angle-grinder interface so a buyer can ask for a usable pack rather than a vague “metal disc.”

What we needState the material and thickness, disc diameter and bore, grinder model and maximum spindle speed. The disc's rated speed must meet or exceed the grinder's maximum operating speed. Use the specified guard and never side-grind with a cutting-only disc. Ask for individual discs or a pack.

Masonry and metal drill bits beside drilled samples
Bits are separated by substrate and tool action, not put in one all-purpose drawer.
Line 03 / drill

Masonry and metal drill bits matched to the hole

Carbide-tipped masonry drill bits must match the drilling action and chuck. An SDS-plus shank and a straight shank are different interfaces; a shared diameter does not make them interchangeable. Metal-cutting bits need their own material and geometry check. Give the substrate, required hole diameter and depth, plus the drill model and intended mode. Use the selected bit's instructions rather than assuming hammer action suits every hard surface.

Reciprocating saw blade teeth beside a cut timber edge
Tooth pitch and blade length decide whether a mixed cut is controlled or wasteful.
Line 04 / reciprocating

Reciprocating blades for timber and mixed assemblies

A reciprocating blade is selected by tooth pattern, working length and the material it must cross. Timber with embedded metal is not the same as clean framing timber. State the assembly, thickness and saw interface before comparing a pack.

Line 05 / joint compound

Construction sealant cartridges for a named joint

Construction sealant is selected by joint movement, substrate, exposure and the finish required. A cartridge that works on one rough building joint can be a poor choice against another surface. Tell us the joint width, depth, material and indoor or outdoor context.

We will not inferWe do not turn “waterproof sealant” into a universal recommendation. The joint condition decides the compound.

Thread seal tape is a separate job

PTFE thread seal tape belongs with compatible threaded joints. It is not a replacement for construction sealant, butyl tape or a compound specified for a moving joint. If the request is for thread seal tape, include the joint type and the service context. The enquiry basis is per roll, confirmed on enquiry.

For a broader compound and tape comparison, see sealants and tapes. For roof overlap work, see roof fixings.

Blade shank / finished edge

Jigsaw blades need their own fit check.

A reciprocating blade does not fit a jigsaw. Identify the saw's accepted shank before discussing tooth pitch or the finish you want on the visible face. T-shank and U-shank describe different retention shapes, not different grades of blade.

For sheet metal, give the material and thickness. For wood panels, state whether the face is laminated and which side must stay clean. The tooth direction can change where surface tear-out appears. Follow the selected blade and saw instructions for stroke settings; a fine-looking tooth pattern alone does not establish a suitable cutting speed.

Before comparing packs

Keep the application beside the quantity. Pack descriptions are enquiry bases, not stock confirmations.

Can every sealant be used on every joint?

No. The joint movement, substrate, exposure and compound must be stated before a line is confirmed. Check paint compatibility and the required cure conditions against the selected product's technical sheet. A fresh bead is not evidence that the joint is ready for water exposure.

What is the enquiry basis for consumables?

Construction sealant is considered per tube or carton, tape per roll, and discs or reciprocating blades per item or pack, confirmed on enquiry. Jigsaw blades are considered per pack. Bits use a piece or set basis. Ask for cartridge volume or roll dimensions alongside the count so you compare the same quantity of material.

What this catalogue will not do

It will not promise that a generic cartridge suits an unknown surface, claim a live stock count, or price a box before the pack basis is clear. This is a wholesale catalogue for enquiry-led supply. It is not an installation service and does not replace the project’s own technical decision.
